What data we collect

Depending on how you use the portal, we may process the following data:

• Contact data: name, email address and phone number.
• Request and booking data: pickup, destination, date, time, number of passengers, comments and messages exchanged with the partner.
• Account data: if you register as a passenger or partner, your login and profile data. For partners, also the details of their company or professional activity.
• Payment data: only if a card hold is activated as a guarantee for a booking. Card details are handled directly by the payment provider.
• Browsing data: IP address, device type and website usage data (see the Cookie Policy).

Fields marked as mandatory are needed to process your request.

How we use your data

• Managing your requests and bookings: sending your request to partners so they can make you an offer and, if you accept it, provide the service.
• Communicating with you: answering your questions, updating you on your booking and helping you if any issue arises.
• Managing the card hold when activated as a guarantee, and charging it in the event of a no-show.
• Managing passenger and partner accounts.
• Improving the portal: analysing website usage in aggregate form.
• Sending you marketing communications, only if you have given your consent.

Legal basis

• Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps: managing your request, the offer and the booking.
• Consent: marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interest: improving the service, portal security and fraud prevention.
• Legal obligation: keeping the information required by tax or commercial law.

Who we share your data with

• Partners (taxi companies and drivers): they receive the details of your request needed to make you an offer and, if you accept it, your contact details to provide the service.
• Payment provider: when the card hold is activated.
• Technology providers: web hosting, email and tools needed to run the portal, which process data on our behalf.
• Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation.

We do not sell your data to third parties. If any provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided for in the GDPR will apply.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as necessary to manage your request or booking and while you keep your account. After that, we keep it blocked for the periods required by law (for example, tax or liability periods) and then delete it.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@taxitransfers24.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Even so, no system is completely infallible.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to legal changes or changes in how the portal works. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
